As a cooperation partner of the Academy for Data Processing at the Gottlieb-Daimler-Schule 2 in Böblingen, we contribute to provide pupils and students with a practical approach to robotics.

With the help of the lightweight robot application and associated software that we have developed, students gain their first experience in programming robots. A virtual learning environment in the form of a digital twin is used for the introduction. The simulation software ports the programs into virtual reality, where the system can be experienced from different perspectives. Basic operation on the robot can be learned via the teach panel. In addition, the self-developed programs can be evaluated and optimized.

Our robot is successfully integrated in the Industrie 4.0 project and even appeared in the current newsletter of the Plattform Industrie 4.0.
