Test equipment

The amount of electronics in door panels is constantly increasing due to rising demands on the comfort and design of the interior.
Although TIER 1 suppliers and OEMs receive the electronic components required for this purpose from their upstream suppliers in 100% tested condition, the sensitive components can suffer defects during installation. These impairments can lead to cost-intensive recall campaigns, especially for safety-relevant components. For this reason, a renewed inspection of the components to exclude defects and for documentation purposes is extremely important for our customers.
Often a simple installation or presence check is not sufficient. The manufacturers of the individual components prescribe exactly how the components are to be tested. Our modular testing technology supports you here by covering all the necessary testing scenarios.

Variant 1: Mini

Our smallest measuring and test equipment can be integrated easily into your system thanks to its small dimensions. We would be pleased to support you with our extensive know-how in the integration into your software environment.

Version 1: E-CheckIT

Our cost-efficient entry-level solution for electrical inspection and test applications. The intelligent measuring system E-CheckIT automatically records all required resistance and current measurements as well as resulting data such as component presence or non-assembly check. 16 analog channels, multiplexed, differential and individually programmable cover all your quality assurance requirements.

Version 2: CAN-FD communication

For electronic components with CAN (-FD) interface, a pure presence check via current consumption is often not sufficient. In order to differentiate between the sensor variants, to read out the hardware and software version or to log the installed serial number, communication via the sensor-specific bus system is required for these safety-relevant components (e.g. radar sensors). In conjunction with the associated software module, a wide variety of testing tasks can be parameterized and covered.

Version 3: LIN communication

A pure presence check via the current consumption is often not sufficient for electronic components with a LIN interface. Often communication via the sensor-specific bus system is necessary for these parts (e.g. seat adjustment switch, window regulator switch) to export hardware and software releases or to log the installed serial number. In conjunction with the associated software module, the various test tasks can be configured and covered.

Option 1: Operating box

For simple and flexible operator acknowledgement, we recommend a freely configurable operating box that can be adapted and designed to your requirements.

Option 2: Barcode scanner

Often, a barcode scanner is used for quick and easy recording of a construction order, DUT or other information. Our measuring and test equipment is compatible with all standard barcode scanners.

Option 3: Printer

After a test, the results often need to be documented directly. With this option we supply you with various printers (labels, paper).

Option 4: Panel PC

For connection to a higher-level production, production flow or documentation system (e.g. manufacturing execution system, ERP system), our measuring and testing technology can be extended with an industrial PC for communication with these systems

Option 5: RFID

You need component identification via RFID? With this option, we include an RFID antenna in our system according to your wishes, so that the DUT can be automatically recognized by our test technology.

Variant 2: Midi

Our Midi test equipment is a test unit in a modular design. In addition to various manufacturers and generations of ultrasound sensors, other electronic parts can also be tested. The heart of the Midi test equipment is an industrial PC including our Windows-based TST-WIN test software. The industrial PC with various output levels can be adapted perfectly to your application. This guarantees a flexible and expandable connection to your overriding system.
