Software

Our software is the central switch point of your test station. It ensures that the test processes function correctly and that the measured values are processed. It guides the operator through the test process and visualises the test results. All settings and processes are menu-controlled and can be configured freely. This means that the software for controlling test processes, and handling through to robot control can be extended in a modular fashion.

TST-WIN test software

Extensive options for controlling the test station (similar to a PLC control unit) and any connected testing, handling, camera equipment and robots that can be added on a modular basis. Visualisation can be adapted to meet customer requirements and designs. The behaviour of the test stand is variant-dependent and can be configured in a versatile manner, e.g. the start of the test process can be triggered in a number of ways, for instance by means of a barcode scan, RFID signal, connection of (all necessary) cable connectors, touchscreen confirmation, operating box or an overriding process control.

Our TST-WIN is supplied as standard with a remote maintenance module to guarantee remote access for our service employees or software developers for diagnosis or expansion.

Option 1: Presence check of electronic components

Is a pure presence check of the electronic components sufficient? The presence of these components can be checked with this module.

Option 2: Extensive test of ultrasonic sensors

With their test specifications, the manufacturers of ultrasonic sensors prescribe precise and detailed tests, which are manufacturer and generation specific. Our test technology and test software is configured on the basis of this test specification and takes these strict regulations into account.

Option 3: Extensive testing of other electronic components (CAN-FD, FlexRay, LIN, KOAX, LVDS, Ethernet, PSI5 and many more)

For electronic components, a pure presence check via current consumption is often not sufficient. In order to differentiate between the sensor variants, to read out the hardware and software version or to log the installed serial number, communication via the component-specific bus system is required for these safety-relevant components (e.g. radar sensors). In conjunction with the associated software module, a wide variety of testing tasks can be parameterized and covered.

Option 4: ITDB & viTronic – Database system to store and visualise test results

The test results data is filed in a database via the ITDB module. Our viTronic software module offers simple and clear access to the collected data including various analysis functions and presentations.

  • Log of the parameter changes
  • Static analyses numeric and graphic (most frequent errors, histograms of measured values, histograms of the causes of errors)
  • Measurements of individual tests based on the serial number
  • Analyses of nonconforming parts
  • Machine capability study with analysis, display of the individual values and print function
  • Graphic presentation of the measured values as a line diagram for individual measured values, daily averages and daily standard deviations.
  • Filter options according to time and units in all analyses
Option 5: Connection of an overriding system & RFID

Do you use a production flow system to transfer construction orders and backup the results? Our test equipment has many interfaces for transferring results to various MES and ERP systems, and can be connected individually to the system you use.

Option 6: Photo documentation

Often, the test is the last step before delivery. This module allows documentation of the delivery state by means of various camera types.

Option 7: Optical check using cameras

DUTs contain numerous non-electronic components and parts that need to be checked with respect to their presence or model. One quick and simple method is analysis by means of image processing. With this module, varying quantities of different camera types can be integrated into the test equipment.

Option 8: Function test of cameras

A wide variety of camera types are used in bumpers. These serve as parking assistance and to enhance the field of vision, as well as for autonomous driving and driving assistance. Our test equipment can cover various communication types and can also analyse and test the picture from the camera fully automatically or manually by means of operator acknowledgement.

Option 9: Robots

Robots are used in our most flexible test stations. These can be equipped with a 3D camera or a 2D/3D scanner to test various features and positions on the DUT and allow testing of various models or vehicles.

Option 10: 3D camera / 3D scanner

In combination with one of our 3D cameras or 3D scanners, this software module allows you to check gap measurements, installed components or detect deeper faults. Here, the use of a 3D camera on the robot or a static 3D scanner is recommended in the test equipment field.

Option 11: 2D scanner

In combination with one of our 2D scanners, this software module allows you to check gap measurements, installed components or detect deeper faults. For this purpose the use on a robot is recommended.

Option 12: Sensors for colour recognition

Various types of colour sensors can be used to detect and differentiate painted components. The highest level of flexibility is achieved in combination with a robot.

Option 13: Non-destructive multilayer paint coat thickness measurement

Some DUTs contain several paint layers that must be checked. With this new method, these different layer thicknesses can be measured in the micrometer range without damage.

Option 14: Test of ambient lighting /daytime running lights, light intensity, homogeneity, colour

In addition to extra hardware scopes, a separate software module for communication and automatic testing of brightness and homogeneity of the light sources is possible to test ambient lighting and headlights.
